Eat Well
In general, we tend to be in a state of borderline dehydration. Turns out, the more processed your diet is, the greater your need for adequate hydration.

Be Active
I like to do barefoot workouts, so long as they are not uber jumpy.

Let's move!
Jumping ladders + plank challenge
5-10-15-10-5
We have four different exercises that we go through using this structure of reps. In between each group of reps, we stoke up the cardio burn by adding in a 50-second interval of jumping rope.
So round 1 = 5 reps squats, 5 push-ups, 5 bridges, 5 toe touch crunches, then you do your jump rope. Round 2 is the same with 10 reps, etc.
You don't actually need a jump rope; just move your arms as though you do have one, and jump your feet. If you do have one, all the better!
Exercises in this workout:
• Squats
• Push Ups
• Bridges
• Toe Touch Crunches

Being aware of our inner voice, our inner dialogue can help us to focus on being more positive - in outlook, in voice, and in general.

Mental & Emotional Health
Yeah, you're an adult now, so that means you do NOT get to lay down on the floor and have a tantrum, even if you have had a bad day. I know, I hear you. Developing Emotional Resiliency skills will help you to get up off that floor.

Social Health
So 'Happy house, happy spouse' is literally a thing. AND, better, you can use this to your advantage if your significant other (or child!) is being a grouchy-pants.

No matter how Groundhog Day-ish our lives feel at this point, dinner is always a THING. I am tempted to just do the same thing over and over but the inner creative chef in me rebels. How's your family dinner planning going?

Happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. Today's link is for something that I have been trying to do recently, for my own peace of mind: taking screen-free days. I do my best to stay off screens on Sundays, and I really do feel better. Especially with working and schooling from home, we are on screens all day, every day. Taking a deliberate break once a week feels like a little gift of face time with my family. https://www.seattleschild.com/raising-good-eaters-seattle-parents-share-their-best-tips/
New recipe: Dairy-free caramels with nuts and dark chocolate that ACTUALLY tastes good? Yes, that is possible. This makes enough to share if you feel you can part with any of them!
