Be Active

Exercise does more than raise your heart rate and keep your muscles strong; it also provides a shield against cancers by reducing inflammation and boosting your immune response.

Let's move!

A core conditioning quickie that hits glutes and grip at the same time?  Yes, please! And under 5 minutes?  Even better!

Using a single dumbbell or kettlebell that is challenging but doable for your goblet squat, you’ll be doing ladders with goblet squats and suitcase carries. But here's the catch: You can't set the bell down until you're done.

Here’s the workout:

  • 8 Goblet Squats, then march away for about 60 feet (or what you have space available) with high knees doing a suitcase carry with the bell in the left hand.

  • 7 Goblet Squats, then return to the original position with the bell in the right hand.

  • 6 Goblet Squats, left-hand suitcase walk.

  • 5 Goblet Squats, right-hand walk.

  • 4 Goblet Squats, left-hand walk

  • 3 Goblet Squats, right-hand walk

  • 2 Goblet Squats, left-hand walk.

  • 1 Goblet Squat, right-hand walk.

Finished.
