Physical Health Eat Well Sometimes, you just need a little bit of sweet.  It’s not always a decision between cake or cookies.  https://www.cleanplates.com/eat/healthy-pantry/5-good-things-eat-craving-something-sweet Be Active Cardio is supposed to be the key to weight loss, right?  Not necessarily. https://www.popsugar.com/fitness/Should-You-Do-Cardio-Every-Day-Lose-Weight-46272735 Let's move! I'll be honest: This is a butt-kicker. I promise you'll feel like a superhero by the end of it. First a 5 minute EMOM, then a fast-paced HIIT, finishing with a 5 minute AMRAP.  Ready?   http://www.intervaltimer.com/timers/8091883 Your EMOM (every minute on the minute) will be: 10 x squat thrusts 10 x low side shuffle (sitting low and staying low, shuffle three to the right and then back to the left three.  Each way counts as 1). Repeat the moves at the top of the minute for 5 minutes. The timer will move on the the HIIT portion.  You know all of the moves. Your AMRAP (as many reps as possible) consists of the following moves: -4 rounds of 1 star jump + Narrow squat and tap your foot front, side and back.  You'll do a star jump between each leg, so a total of 4 star jumps.   -16 twisting mountain climbers (8 each side) -8 leg drop + toe touch crunches Move through the three moves as many rounds as you can in the 5 minutes. Spiritual Health Sometimes, what we really need to get passed ourselves is to see something that impresses and inspires us.  Awe is an amazing gift. https://greatergood.berkeley.edu/article/item/what_awe_looks_like_in_the_brain Mental & Emotional Health You know how it feels: sluggish, tired, drained, no energy, ...a cup of coffee would be the perfect fix!  Maybe, though, try something else. https://www.insidehook.com/feature/food-and-drink/5-coffee-alternatives-to-get-you-through-the-day Social Health It's hard to remember when we weren't busy.  BUSY busy, not just occupied.  Might not be such a bad thing to get 'unbusy' for a few hours. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/11/why-dont-i-see-you-anymore/598336/ Posts from HealthyExpatParent.com/Facebook Happy Monday!
