This may seem like a social skill, but the ability to forgive is key for emotional wellness.  Kids should learn this skill as they get older; parents should already know and own these skills.  All that said, it never hurts to repeat lessons.  And, sometimes, repeating a lesson (even as an adult) can help remind of things that we have become too busy to focus on.
