I admit, I used to be on the fat-free yogurt trend.  I've come around to the creamy richer variety, though.  Being lactose intolerant, I get about a spoonful or two of yogurt, max, each day.  I love it for its tangy creaminess, and I've realized the value of having a food (especially in the morning) that keeps me full longer. Plus, it's better for cooking.

I know you've read a lot of what is supposed to be motivational material to keep you moving, get you in the new fitness routine, blah blah blah.  But, honestly, the only thing that is going to get you out there regularly is you.

Let's move!

This workout is 4 rounds of 6 moves. You'll do the 6 moves 20 seconds on, 10 off and then those same 6 moves for 30 seconds each non-stop.  Then you'll move on to the next round of 6 new moves.  You've got this!  Start your music!

These phrases that undermine your relationship with your key relationships (spouse, friend, etc) are important to note.  We want to build our best people up, not make them feel smaller.

Advice advice advice from every direction. I know it can be tiresome. These, though, are valuable reminders, not just for dads.

Happy Monday! Hopefully you get at least one more cookout before the weather changes (if, indeed, you are in a place that has weather that changes). If, while grilling, you wonder about the number of dogs versus the number of buns, here's your answer. (and yes, this is a very American quandary).

We made this chicken last weekend and it was so very tasty.  You can double, if you are feeding a crowd.  I haven't yet tried it, but I think it would be awesome on grilled veggies, too.

Yes! Love parenting, yes, love being a mom, but omg is it ever exhausting! Would it really be that bad to let them in on that little (poorly kept) secret?
