Teenagers are emotionally savvy,
able to detect untruths, capable of finding and developing their support systems, skilled at handling drastic and potentially debilitating change, genius at self-soothing, and also emotional cannon balls. And, more than ever, they need you, my fellow parent, more than you can imagine.
They are also often unpleasant, prickly, and difficult. And again, more than ever, they need you, my fellow parent, more than you can imagine.
This podcast with Rich Roll interviewing Lisa Damour, a teen psychologist and author of books focusing on Teens and emotional health, is so full of aha's and honest conversation. Please listen.
