I said it before, and you all know this to be true: what kid doesn't like to eat with his fingers?  These nuts are a very hearty snack or light lunch.  Add some fruit and veggies, maybe some cheese or yogurt, and I promise your child will be ready for whatever the afte...

I just spotted this recipe online, and made it for the boys: a big hit, and super easy.  This would be a great snack after school, sure, and also a nice treat after a meal (for both big and little people; you don't have to share if you decide not to).    This is an eas...

I'm willing to bet you and your entire family has over-indulged a bit on sweets, savories and ... pretty much everything this holiday.  Not pointing fingers; this is just how things go during the holiday season, amIright?  So, let's give you a slightly healthier snack...

You should know that I consider my three boys my guinea pigs, and pretty much everything I put in this blog, they have tasted and tested.  They give very honest reviews and feedback ... sometimes a bit too honest.  This one, though, has been a hit since the first time...

Meet your Coach

I am Susie Csorsz Brown and I am a Certified Parent Coach through PCI, specializing in families in transition. I am also a Wellness Coach.  I have a Health background, and I practice what I preach. I have three children, so I coach from experience. I am a Foreign Service spouse (since 2000), and have learned to deal with family issues from the stress of relocation, school issues, medical situations, pregnancy and divorce as well as family angst.

You should know, healthy eating is one of my passions.  The thing is: food can be good for you and taste good, too.  I want my kids to eat well, and to grow up knowing what smarter food options are out there.
