I think, on random days, it's a good thing to be grateful for what we have, what we are, and what we are continuing to be.  Especially today, though, when we celebrate 20 years of marriage, it’s even more appropriate to reflect and to be grateful.

Dear Hubby,

Oh, the pl...

Everywhere we turn, someone is asking for something.  Everywhere we go, it is what else we can do for someone else.  What about what you do for you?

What about giving yourself 60 seconds every day to just be and to focus on you?

There is a wonderful Japa...

Dear COVID-19,

You are a curious thing, aren't you?  Hard to pin down, hard to describe.  Apparently, you like to sneak, tip-toeing in, around and amongst people.  You've leapfrogged onto more continents than most people get to visit in person, and in such a short peri...

Mothering is likely the best 'thing' I have ever done, and ,at the same time, one of the most difficult.  Though, honestly, I’m not completely sure ‘done’ is the right word here, because really, parenting is just one long string of reactions and counter-actions, and it...

The threat out there against us is very real: a tiny speck of a incomplete bit of genetic material is taking down hundreds of thousands of people, wreaking havoc on mankind, on the economy, on life as we know it ... on 'normal', and there is seemingly little we can do...

I know you need more links to click on like you need a hole in the head; however, I have been a little swamped what with work and life and helping the boys do their home learning.  Those three are enough but this week we added a few health issues (nothing COVID-related...

I started this off in a grouchy mood and had nothing good to say.  Being grouchy is not a comfortable fit for me so it's nice that writing to you all has brought back a bit of silver linings for me.

There are, of course, grumpy moments, and tech-issues.  Naturally...

This is an especially trying time.  I mean, there are always THOSE days that feel burdensome, but in normal times, you can endure them by focusing on what needs to be done, what needs to be taken care of and taking comfort in the knowledge that this burdensome trying t...

I get it.  You are, like me, tired of your screen, your house, your family.  You are tired of Emeetings, and the upswing in email traffic.  GO Browser is your least favorite government ‘tool’ yet, and you are working hard on one thing: the ‘quarantine fifteen’ which, m...

5 ways to regroup/chill/get over it when everyone is at home sharing that trickle of internet and what little space you may have.  I know, I know, you need more links like you need a hole in the head but ... let's get you a little less wound-up.

1.  Dance party.  5 minu...

Meet your Coach

I am Susie Csorsz Brown and I am a Certified Parent Coach through PCI, specializing in families in transition. I am also a Wellness Coach.  I have a Health background, and I practice what I preach. I have three children, so I coach from experience. I am a Foreign Service spouse (since 2000), and have learned to deal with family issues from the stress of relocation, school issues, medical situations, pregnancy and divorce as well as family angst.

You should know, healthy eating is one of my passions.  The thing is: food can be good for you and taste good, too.  I want my kids to eat well, and to grow up knowing what smarter food options are out there.
