Friends,

I know many of you are going through the same or similar situation that I am, feeling borderline overwhelmed by all of the emails and links and eLearning and ... just everything.  Please know that while I am going to continue sending out the newsletter each week, I completely understand if you don't have the time or inclination to read it.  It is much more important that you use your time to benefit you and yours.  Wellness may look differently these days; eventually, we will get back to 'normal.'  Stay well, do what you need to do.

Eat Well

A nutrition-related decision some wrestle with is whether or not to eat meat.  Becoming vegetarian may seem like a good option, but it is important to make wise food choices.

Be Active

Walking is a form of exercise literally anyone can do.  Turns out upping your step count aids in better sleep; we all know sufficient sleep is the 'cure' for many of things that ail us.

The best way to keep things fresh, to stay interested and motivated is to get out of your routine.  I know, routine is easy and predictable, which can be a good thing, but sometimes change is good.

Being 'alone' is not at all the same thing as being 'lonely.'  Furthermore, sometimes being alone is exactly what you (and your private thoughts) need.

Happy Monday! You know you are probably going to allow a bit more screentime with all of this craziness going on. Social distancing is a very effective tool to minimizing the spread of COVID-19. So, with that in mind, how about some awesome family time revisiting some great family films? Princess Bride, anyone?

This doesn't exactly get your kids completely off their devices, but listening to podcasts is an amazing way to spark imagination, generate topics of discussion and fill bright heads with even more ideas. These are great podcasts geared for kids.

New post. It's our reality right now, dealing with COVID-19.  Yours is probably very similar.
