Culture, by its very definition, isn’t the work of being right. It’s the work of being in sync.

Physical Health

Eat Well

Fat cells are around, expanding and shrinking as needed to store extra energy.  Sadly, the general thought is that they don't actually go away when you lose weight; they just get smaller.

Be Active

For some, activity trackers are motivating.  For others, they become a stressor.  I admit: I used to love mine, until it became a stressor (the app on my phone asked me to change my password at the same time as all of my other device passwords and I just couldn't take it.).  In light of all of the things you HAVE to pack into your day, physical activity should be one of the more pleasing things.  Don't let it - or the thing that reminds you about it - be a stressor.

Let's move!

Alphabet Soup workout:

First a 5 minute EMOM, then a fast-paced HIIT, finishing with a 5 minute AMRAP.  Ready?  ttp://www.intervaltimer.com/timers/8091883

Your EMOM (every minute on the minute) will be:

10 x squat thrusts

10 x low side shuffle (sitting low and staying low, shuffle three to the right and then back to the left three.  Each way counts as 1).

Repeat the moves at the top of the minute for 5 minutes.

The timer will move on the the HIIT portion.  You know all of the moves.

Your AMRAP (as many reps as possible) consists of the following moves:

-4 rounds of 1 star jump + Narrow squat and tap your foot front, side and back.  You'll do a star jump between each leg, so a total of 4 star jumps.

-16 twisting mountain climbers (8 each side)

-8 leg drop + toe touch crunches

Move through the three moves as many rounds as you can in the 5 minutes.

Spiritual Health

Empathy : perhaps the single thing that can conquer a divided world.

Mental & Emotional Health

Think you know about mental health?  You probably do know a lot.  But here are a few things that people often get wrong.

Is pleasing other people getting in the way?  Don't let it, but not at the expense of losing your friends.
