Fail big. Fall forward. Don’t confuse movement with progress.

Eat Well

It can be hard to know what to believe when it comes to eating well. Social media is FULL of 'new' theories. Sometimes, the best advice is the most simple.

Be Active

The beauty of walking is that you get exercise, you get fresh air, and you don't have to get completely soaked in sweat while still gaining the benefits of regular exercise.

Let's move!

Short but not necessarily sweet: this EMOM sandwich will get you to the finish line quickly. Remember: EMOM is every minute on the minute you'll do the moves as indicated, and AMRAP is as many reps as possible.

The first EMOM is 10 long jumps and 10 side leaps.

The AMRAP is a ladder: 1 v-up, 1 push-up, 2 v-ups, 2 push-ups, ... adding a rep of both each round.

The second EMOM is 5 star jumps, 5 squat jacks, 5 jacks and 5 Seal jacks. I challenge you to add one rep of each minute.

Repeat the same AMRAP.

These are great questions to ask our kids, to connect, especially after a day of too many devices. Sure, they are valid as well if our kids are face-to-face learning, and, sub ‘work’ for ‘school’ and you can connect with your spouse/partner, too. https://www.fatherly.com/parenting/how-to-ask-what-kids-are-feeling-how-handling-stress/

Happy Monday! I know all of us are getting through this pandemic in different ways, numbers climbing then dropping and now climbing again ... it’s heartbreaking to read. We deal with being stuck at home in different ways. I love what this woman started doing.

New recipe: I mean, who doesn’t like to eat food with their hands? Okay, some people but then for them, we can just plate this and eat it with a fork and knife. Seriously, this is some awesome stuff! Hope you try it.

New post: Change is big and can feel like it is too hard unless you break it into smaller pieces. Then, all of a sudden, it will feel so much more doable.
